While giving technical access if very simple, how the platform is introduced impacts success!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-before-launch\"><strong>Before Launch<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Plan Rollout<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Define the ideal launch day along with a <a href=\"https:\/\/brightbreaks.com\/knowledge\/how-to-set-up-an-internal-challenge-or-quest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">challenge<\/a> to incentivize your organization to participate. A challenge start date approximately one week within launch is recommended to leverage momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best practices for first challenge for a smooth introduction: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Take a Break challenge template is strongly recommended <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep the challenge to <strong>individual participation<\/strong> as opposed to teams<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2-3 weeks in length, up to a month if you have a large organization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use a raffle method to determine winners as opposed to highest points accumulated<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask for no more than 5 points to be earned during the challenge period to qualify to enter the raffle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The above is a good introduction to Bright Breaks as a new concept and habit-builder without pressure to compete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: While team challenges are great to see higher engagement later on, <strong>team challenges are generally not recommended as a first engagement initiative for breaks-based challenges<\/strong>. Bright Breaks will be unfamiliar as a concept to most and a team challenge may result in confusion and low engagement if combined with team competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pilot Group Test<\/strong> &#8211; Optional but recommended<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ask a group such as a wellness committee, to pilot Bright Breaks for at least a week and get their feedback and engagement ideas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set up a test <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.brightbreaks.com\/knowledge\/how-to-run-an-internal-challenge\">challenge<\/a> during this time before other employees are granted or are aware of how to access. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Communication<\/strong> &#8211; Pre Launch Announcement<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/brightbreaks.com\/knowledge\/launch-communication-scripts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">pre-launch announcement<\/a> to let org members know a new benefit is coming in written communication channels and company-wide calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Security &amp; Access<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensure the appropriate email address domains are allow-listed at the bottom of the Members tab in the Champion Portal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-launch-day\"><strong>Launch Day<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Announce the Bright Breaks partnership and that access is open to your org members in written form and during a company-wide call if possible. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include communications about upcoming challenges\/quests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your organization is not using SSO\/User Provisioning, <a href=\"https:\/\/brightbreaks.com\/knowledge\/adding-members-to-champion-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">enter a list of email addresses in the Members tab of the Champion Portal<\/a> &#8211; they will receive an email invitation immediately to create their account. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-post-launch\"><strong>Post-Launch<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Communication &#8211; Challenge Promotion<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continue promoting Bright Breaks, remind your organization to participate in the challenge and communicate winners. Challenge <a href=\"https:\/\/brightbreaks.com\/knowledge\/promote-and-track-participation-in-your-challenge-or-quest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">promotional scripts<\/a> are generated dynamically in the Champion Portal by clicking &#8216;Promo&#8217; on the Challenge card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Enable team leads and mangers<\/strong>: to use Bright Breaks as a connection tool, such as inviting their team to join them on live breaks,  <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.brightbreaks.com\/learn\/knowledge\/the-advocate-feature-how-to-assign-advocates-their-function\/\">running their own challenges for their teams as Advocates<\/a> or you as a Champion setting up challenges on their behalf using the Link method for participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Continue posting well-being content<\/strong>: in internal channels every week to keep Bright Breaks top-of-mind, using our prepared <a href=\"https:\/\/brightbreaks.com\/knowledge-category\/promotional-resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">promotional materials generated every month<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Determine cadence of future challenges<\/strong> &#8211; this helps in keeping engagement elevated.
